This wine presents a beautiful harmony between fruit and minerality. The mouth is elegant with a mineral finish. This wine comes from the most chalky terroir of the estate. One of the best "climat" of the appellation. 100% Chardonnay, manual harvest. Vinification 7% in oak barrel. Certified organic.

Pierreclos gets its name from the rocky spur planted with vines since the 6th century, called “Petra Clausa” which meant “enclosed of stones” owned by the Saint-Vincent of Mâcon canons and the Benedictine monks of the Cluny Abbey.

Each parcel of vines, cultivated by the family in the respect of organic agriculture like a garden, is both a natural and cultural heritage. They have been chosen for their geological and climatic conditions which are most favourable to the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties. The vinification is designed to reveal the unique character of the terroir in each cuvée.
