Clos Del Rey "Le Sabina" Vermell Rouge 2023

90% Grenache 5% Carignan and 5% Syrah grown on black shale. Deep dark berry fruits and plum, rounded and soft texture with fine tannins. Le Sabina is superb and intense, presenting aromas of red and black fruits in a Mediterranean style. Rich, ample flavor, beautiful finish.

Created in 2001 by Jacques Montagné, Clos Del Rey is located in the heart of a protected natural area of garrigue (rosemary, thyme, rockroses) at an altitude of 300m, among the highest plots of the cru in the Commune of Maury. The vines are planted on stony clay-limestone soils with iron residues, with some vines over 120 years old.
