Txakoli Gañeta's history dates back to the 19th century when Grandfather Manuel planted Hondarribi Zuri vineyards to produce txakoli artisanally, In 1992, Julian Ostolaza and Itziar Etxeberria founded the Gañeta winery. Today, more than three family generations have been producing txakoli Gañeta, endowing it with genuine character and personality.

The Julian Ostolaza Ganeta Blanco is made from 50-year-old vines, that are dry-farmed within view of the Atlantic. Fermentation is done in inox (aka stainless steel). It is well-balanced, pleasant, bright, briny, and light-bodied with a slight effervescence and bracing acidity. The crisp palate provides citrus, green apple, minerals, pear, quince, and elderflower. Intense kefir lime, fresh acidity and low alcohol gets you hooked on another glass.
