Southold Farm & Cellars "You Pretty Things" Rosé 2022

This rosé is made up with about six different varieties. When the first pick arrived, the fruit was crushed, destemmed and cold-soaked with the skins. This wine was fermented in concrete and stainless steel by native yeast and bacteria.

Winemakers Regan and Carey Meador have always been more curious about the more subtle side of skin contact white wines. A more delicate approach to skin fermentation, this carries with it so much more freshness, aromatics that jump out of the glass. Cardamom, orange blossom, a touch of green tea, even some white pepper. 

No more of this wine will be made, as the winemakers closed their winery in Fredericksburg last year and moved to Bourdeaux, France. Get it while it lasts!
