Vista Brewing "Zenith" Oak-Aged Petit Saison

"Zenith" is a collaboration between Vista and True Anomaly Brewing Co.

This easy-drinking farmhouse ale delivers delicate flavors of white wine, lemon, mineral, and light oak tannins with a dry finish. Rustic and lightly tart, this brew started as a grisette with a touch of flaked oats, then aged in French oak for six months until it reached the peak (the zenith!) of flavors produced by the house culture from True Anomaly.

Zenith is the astronomical term describing when a celestial body reaches its peak. In life, we use zenith to describe when something has reached its best point. When collaborating with our friends and fellow star gazers at TABC, we came up with a recipe inspired by our love of farmhouse ales, starry nights, and aging with oak barrels.
