Realce Tempranillo 2024

Lighter, fresher, yet round expression of Tempranillo. Aromas of plums and violets with a hint of smoke. Medium-plus bodied and dry, with dark dried earth, dark fruit, cherry cola, plum skins and cherry medicinal notes. The tannins are soft, with medium acid and a dry, powdery grip. 

Certified Organic. 100% Tempranillo from 30 year old vines located between the Jucar and Cabriel Rivers at 700 meters on limestone and clay soils. Here the vineyards experience a push-pull between the cool, humid Poniente Wind from the Atlantic and the heat of the Levant Wind that comes from North Africa. The result is a large diurnal temperature fluctuation that favors slow ripening and perfect formation of the phenolics. 

The grapes are hand-harvested, fermented with native yeast in temperature-controlled stainless steel for 15 days, followed by aging for six months in cement tanks before bottling.
