A blend Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, "The Phantom" presents dark cherry with brooding earthy tones of primordial nature. The color is dark ruby garnet with a purple core and delicate ochre rim. It has a multi-faceted bouquet of herbs and candied orange zest, some wood savouriness, cassis, elegant notes of chocolate, coffee and vanilla, and a floral touch. On the palate, it's juicy and complex, with fine, silky tannins, lively, mineral and dark berries on the long, lingering finish. A versatile food wine.
