Marchesi Di Ravarino "Stile Antico" Lambrusco Pét-Nat dell'Emilia IGT 2023
Ruby color, with a slightly hazy appearance. Aromas of wild strawberries, cherries, raspberries, brambles and forest floor precede a solid fruit palate that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and tart with notes of plum, fruit rollup, blueberry, raspberry and light spice. Medium acid, lightly savory, dark berries, medium plus carbonation.
"Stile Antico" is made from a blend of Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco di Sorbara, the proportions of which vary from year to year depending on the characteristics of the grapes. This wine is produced according to the most ancient tradition of the Modena method, now known as the Ancestral Method, also commonly called a "pét-nat.".
"Stile Antico" expresses a frank, territorial and vibrant personality. The use of the Ancestral Method gives the wine a pleasant flavor authenticity, capable of recalling the most artisanal and sincere productions from Emilia. The varietal component of Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco di Sorbara contributes to a fresh and gastronomic profile, in which drinkability is accompanied by a supple yet well-defined structure. The 12.5% alcohol content makes it balanced and suitable for a satisfying tasting, without sacrificing finesse.
The organic and natural soul of the production project adds further value to this bottle, ideal for those who seek not only quality in their glass, but also production consistency and loyalty to the territory of origin, Italy and in particular the most authentic Emilia. It is an organic and also natural wine, meaning it is produced with minimal human intervention, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, to maximize the identity of the grape and the expressiveness of the 2022 vintage.
