The Weixelbaum family-run winery is located in the heart of the Wachau region of Austria, in the medieval village center of Weißenkirchen. The Zelkingerhof is an old vineyard estate belonging to the noble family of the same name, whose first documented mention dates back to 1502. Thus, wine has been produced on the estate for over 500 years. The estate came into the family's possession in 1764 through the previous estate manager, one of their ancestors, and has been managed by the Weixelbaum family for many generations.
