Maloof "Where Ya PJs At?" White Blend 2021

This crisp & funky orange wine leaves a tart yet smooth taste with notes of strawberry, cranberry, and a hint of citrus. Surprisingly big on berries and melons! Take a chilled bottle on a date night or keep cozy in your PJs and binge watch some of your faves.

Own rooted, dry-farmed vines, planted in 1976. 80% skin-contact Pinot Gris, 20% barrel-fermented Riesling. The Pinot gris was fermented on the skins for 21 days. A small portion of that (20ish%) was fermented via carbonic maceration in a separate bin. The two lots were pressed off together and put into neutral oak. The Riesling was direct pressed, and fermented in neutral oak barrels. Once the Riesling went dry (January), eveything was blended and put back into barrel, where it went through malolactic fermentation. Bottled without fining or filtration. Small sulfur add at bottling. Only 130 cases produced.
