El Jefe "Grande" Tempranillo 2025

El Jefe is "The Boss" of Tempranillo. A big red, 1L bottle of juice, sourced from a single family estate and fermented in cement tanks to preserve purity of the fresh tannins and fruit. Senses of berry, white cherry, plum, stone and mocha notes. A pretty ruby red robe color in the glass. The fruit is crushed, fermented and aged in breathable concrete tanks to allow the natural aromas to develop and the pour forth with pure, fresh aromas of bing cherry, fresh fig, raspberries, red plum and dried herbs. Silky soft tannins surround a palate blanket of red berry fruits and supple (gulpable) finish. This wine is a party in a bottle with enough to share. A really charming organic wine that doesn’t break the bank.
