Château Goudichaud Bordeaux Rosé 2023
This fresh and tasty 100% Cabernet Franc AOC Bordeaux Rosé has no shyness with its soft pink color. Aromas of cherry candy and wild fruits remind one of the smells of spring. In the mouth, freshness predominates, its round flesh revealing strawberries, white peach, bright acidity and spice. This is a young, crisp wine that is fun and ready to drink.
Château Goudichaud is located on the banks of Dordogne river, close to the renowned appellations of Saint Emilion, Pomerol and Fronsac. Belonging to the Glotin’s Family, the wine estate is part of the best properties in the appellation both for the quality of the wines and the high production capacity. Château Goudichaud, bearing the name of the estate, is the reference wine which shows a great delicacy.
In 1930 the Glotin family purchased the domaine wherein Henriette Glotin ran it for 40 years. She was one of the first woman winemakers in France, and given control over her own estate became one of the most influential in Graves. Today, Yves engages with the same passion for respecting the Graves terroir. The estate covers 120 hectares, composed of vineyards, forests and grasslands. This diversity allows for the vineyards to integrate with the nature surrounding it, supporting the natural cycles inherent in the spirit and charm of Bordeaux.
