Alta Marfa "Helping Hand" Grüner Veltliner 2023

100% Gruner Veltliner. A juicy and aromatic, full bodied white wine. Flavors of apple, crisp pear and honeysuckle. 

Grapes from Kubacak Vineyard, Texas High Plains AVA, Lynn County, Texas. Machine harvested, destemmed and fermented in polyethylene tank. Spontaneous fermentation. 48-hours of skin contact. Aged in polyethylene tank. Completed malolactic fermentation. Aged nine months. Added 31ppm total SO2. 80 cases produced.

Alta Marfa is a small winery in Marfa, Texas, making unique wines with grapes grown by wonderful farmers in Texas and New Mexico, as well as the winery's own grapes grown in the Texas Davis Mountains AVA.
