K. Descombes "Cuvée Kéké" Beaujolais Nouveau 2025
This Beaujolais Nouveau is known for its vibrant red fruit aromas, including strawberries and cherries, earthy undertones and a hint of spice. Light-bodied, cherry and rose petals, with light structure and acidity making for an all around awesome Gamay.
100% Gamay from 40-year-old vines. Whole cluster, semi-carbonic maceration for 10-12 days, which enhances its fresh and fruity profile while maintaining a light, drinkable structure. The fruit is then pressed and then fermented with native yeasts and aged in concrete vats. Minimal sulfur used in the winemaking. Unfined light filtration at bottling.
Kewin Descombes, affectionately known as "Kéké," is a rising star in the Beaujolais wine region of France. The son of the renowned Georges Descombes, Kewin has quickly made a name for himself in the world of natural wine. At just 21 years old, he produced his first vintage in 2013. The 2025 Kewin Descombes Cuvée Kéké Beaujolais is a prime example of his work.
It is also said that Kewin loves AC/DC like few others can.
