Folk Machine Chenin Blanc 2023

An assuredly California Chenin Blanc. The minerality and lightness are refreshing and contrary to the California Chardonnay. The acid is higher, the wine is a bit more austere, bordering on being reductive, but still savory and refreshing and always about texture. Medium bodied with good tropical notes of apricot and lemon zest. Moist and juicy with firm acid. 

Free run and light press juice fermented with naturally occurring yeast in a combination of concrete eggs, stainless steel tanks, and a few neutral French oak barrels. 294 cases produced.
