Hedges "CMS" Columbia Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2024

This blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Marsanne (CMS) flows with aromas of mango, kiwi, clove, citrus blossom and lemon curd that lead to flavors of peach, gooseberry, tropical fruits and a hint of orange marmalade.

The fruit was sourced from several Columbia Valley vineyards including the Yakima Valley and Columbia Valley AVA’s. Grapes were sustainably-farmed, malolactic conversion was avoided and fermentation was done entirely in stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain the maximum level of fruit aromas and flavors. Tom and Anne-Marie founded Hedges Family Estate as a négociant brand, with the CMS label, in 1987. In 1989 the husband and wife team purchased 120 acres on Red Mountain. Today, their son Christophe Hedges is the General Manager and their daughter Sarah Goedhart is the winemaker. Not only is this truly a family affair, but the estate is Salmon Certified Organic and converting to biodynamic farming. Currently 40% of the estate is Demeter Certified Biodynamic.
