Traditional natural wine from the Republic of Georgia, which many consider to be the birthplace of wine. Anapea's “Margo” is a dry red wine made from the indigenous Georgian Saperavi grape. Fermented six months in Qvevri, with six weeks of contact on white grape skins (Mtsvane grapes), then aged 24 months in Qvevri. The wine has an deep red hue, cherries and red berries on the nose and 14% ABV.

Anapea was founded by the wife and husband team of Khatia and Gocha in 2014 with one mission: to restore the viticulture tradition of the 19th century Kakheti region. They built a micro eco-system and ancient Kakheti village. All of their wines are fermented in Qvevris.

Anapea's vineyards are located in Sagarejo, Kvareli, & Samtskhe-Javakheti. Each vineyard has unique soil compositions & elevations, contributing to the distinct characteristics of their wines. Anapea began revitalizing the land, building a bio-humus plant to restore soil fertility. They planted seven ancient Kakhetian grape varieties & 33 rare indigenous grapes to showcase the region's diversity. The main feature of their project is a wine cellar equipped with over 100 Qvevris, used for making wine through traditional Kakhetian methods. Anapea is a family business. Khatia, a sociologist & university lecturer, manages the winemaking process, while Gocha, a geologist, oversees the eco-village & vineyard development.
