Billecart-Salmon Brut Sous Bois is a luxurious, oak-aged Champagne, fully vinified in barrels for a uniquely complex profile. It pours a golden hue with fine bubbles and offers aromas of ripe apple, pear, and subtle hazelnut. The palate is creamy, showcasing flavors of baked apple, brioche, orange peel, currant and delicate spice, balanced by vibrant acidity and minerality and a long, toasty finish with ripe concentration. A refined, richly-layered Champagne.

The Billecart family has been living in Mareuilsur-Aÿ since the 16th century. Nicolas Francois Billecart married Elisabeth Salmon in the early 1800s, and the families’ longstanding vineyards were married as well, and Billecart-Salmon was founded in 1818. Today it is the longest-standing family-owned Champagne house, managed by brothers Francois and Antoine RolandBillecart.
