Brij Wines "Printemps" SLO Coast Pinot Noir 2025

"Printemps," the French word for "spring" or "springtime," is bright and lively, with aromas of wild strawberry and rose petal. The palate is light and energetic, carried by fresh acidity and delicate tannins, with subtle hints of forest floor and spice. A vibrant, Spring expression of Pinot Noir.

The grapes are sourced from Greengate Vineyard located in Edna Valley on the San Louis Obispo Coast. Farmed using certified organic methods. Produced using 100% carbonic maceration and all native yeasts. Aged five months in neutral French oak. 750 cases produced.

Brij Wines is a project of Rajat Parr, one of the most accomplished and celebrated wine professionals in the industry. Raj grew up in Calcutta, India where he found his love of hospitality working within family restaurants in New Delhi. It wasn’t until age twenty that Raj experienced his first taste of wine in London with his uncle in 1993, and from that point forward he found a calling that would lead him on an odyssey to the coastal enclave that today is called Phelan Farm.

Raj makes estate-grown wine under the Phelan Farm label, while Brij Wines is the label he uses for wine made from grapes purchased from other organically-farmed vineyards. Raj also makes wine under the Scythian Wines label.
