Casa Emma "Vignalparco" Chianti Classico Riserva 2018
Bright ruby red with violet reflections. Intense aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant over balsamic undertones. Structured and balanced in the mouth, guided by well-proportioned, velvety tannins, with great persistence and a pleasantly mineral finish.
A Chianti Classico Riserva made with 100% Sangiovese grapes, produced in a single vineyard of two hectares farmed biodynamically and naturally fertilized with geese, which eat the grass and harmful insects and act as natural protectors for the soil. Vignalparco Riserva is strong personality wine with good structure, freshness, soft tannins and intense persistence.
The winery was founded in 1969, when Fiorella Lepri took a leap of faith and purchased the property from the Florentine noblewoman Emma Bizzarri. Her legacy is maintained through the name of the winery, Casa Emma.
Best from 2024 through 2037. 1,600 cases made, 900 cases imported. A number of critics have rated this Chianti Classico wine extremely highly.
