Fun and flirty! Bright, clean pink colour. Delicate nose gradually unfurling mineral notes, red berry fruits and a peppery touch. On the palate, a fairly robust rosé with savoury freshness, lush peach and apricot, cherries, strawberries and a hint of fresh herbaceousness. Refreshing and smooth, with robust minerality and a long-lasting, spicy finish. A perfect pairing for a picnic in the park or poolside hang.

60% Grenache, 35% Cinsault, 5% Syrah.

Château Fontvert is located near the village of Lourmarin in the heart of the Luberon mountains. The estate was founded in 1598, and was farmed by the same family for over three centuries, growing vines, olives, cherries, and truffles. In the 1950s, the mMnod family purchased the property and began the process of rehabilitating the vineyards. After initially selling most of their production to the local co-op in 1999, Jérôme Monod and his three sons decided to take all winemaking duties in-house, and since 2008, the 20 hectares of vineyards have been certified both organic and biodynamic. Vines are planted at the foot of the Luberon mountain on hillside parcels giving a cooling effect to the vineyards, which, when combined with the limestone and sandy marl soils, helps retain natural acidity. All the grapes are hand-harvested, and fermentations are exclusively with native yeast. One of the most progressive and exciting estates in Luberon today.
