Domaine Raimbault Sancerre Les Godons Blanc 2023

This Sancerre is beautiful pale gold in color with bright reflections. On the nose, it reveals fine fruit, floral and mineral aromas. The taste is off dry, showing citrus flavours (grapefruit, lemon) and vivid acidity on the palate. Elegantly fresh and clean, with sufficient length. Wonderful tinges of tropical fruit trimmed with Sancerre greenness and elegance. Pairs well with shrimp and grilled fish, shells, poultry but also excellent with fresh goat cheese.

Philippe Raimbault is part of a winemaker family that started to do wine in 1700's. Now he owns vineyards on both sides if the Sancerre river which allows him to make several wines: Sancerre, Côteaux du Giennois, Pouilly Fumé.
