Like the easy-drinking reds of the Southern Rhône Valley, this Mediterranean assemblage of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, is blended for immediate enjoyment. This wine drinks like wines from solid Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages vintages: sappy, spicy, mouth-filling and nuanced. It is an eminently enjoyable everyday bottle.

Deep boysenberry fruit aromatics, with smoky/meaty/savory complex flavor components that emphasize the terroir, and a lengthy creamy texture. Earth, mineral and wild berry flavors take the forefront, backed with good acidity and moderate tannins for a snappy, mouth-cleansing texture.

Made from high elevations vines averaging 30 years of age from several plots in the Sierra Foothills, Bill Easton carefully crafts this Southern Rhône blend. The grapes are hand-harvested, stainless steel-fermented and age for 17 months in old Burgundy barrels, He releases his wine when he deems it ready to drink.
