With its deep purple hue and a nose bursting with brambly dark fruit and spice, “Vindici Maux” is a big, ripe and juicy Malbec offering grippy tannins and young black-fruit flavors, with weight and acidity that keeps it fresh yet complex. It will age well, ready to drink from 2024.

Handcrafted with minimal intervention by the Thiéry siblings at Domaine d’Homs from 100% organically farmed Malbec. Spontaneously fermented and aged in stainless steel and bottled without added sulfites, this wine embodies the rich terroir of Cahors, which is considered the historic birthplace and ancestral home of the Malbec grape.

Cahors, a region nestled in Southwest France, has long been overshadowed by its more famous neighbors. However, “Vindici Maux” is a shining example of why Cahors deserves its place on the world stage. This wine embodies the region’s unique terroir, featuring Kimmeridgian limestone and gravelly soils.
