With ethereal scents of ripe fruit and marasca cherry, Amarone Grotta del Ninfeo has an intense ruby red colour and is loaded with big fruit sensations of ripe cherry and plum, along with raisin, chocolate and oak, and subtle hints of lightly toasted wood and cocoa. Full-bodied, harmonious, with a long and mellow finish culminating in a lingering spicy sensation, which evolves glass after glass. Perfect for immediate enjoyment.

Corvinone and Corvina 70%, Rondinella 25% and Molinara 5%, from a selection of old vines planted between 1968 and 1985. The grapes are picked by hand and laid on small trays in order to be placed in the drying-room, according to the traditional system of appassimento. In the month of January the grapes are crushed and go through a spontaneous fermentation for 40 days. After the racking off and the pressing, the wine is kept in French oak barriques for 30 months and it refines in the bottle for at least 18 months before being released.

In 1958 Domenico Fraccaroli began producing wines from local varieties on a small piece of paradise in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. In 2002, his son, Tiziano Fraccaroli, purchased an estate in Verona, in the town of Lavagno, the Grotta del Ninfeo, allowing the family to expand their range and produce the wines of Valpolicella. The third generation, Domenico and Luca, now in charge of the estate, continue their family tradition. Domenico Fraccaroli's products are synonymous with quality and authenticity and reflect the company's own characteristics: passion, refinement, elegance and respect for tradition.
