Golden yellow with brilliant green reflections, Feudi di San Gregorio's Falanghina is is a more complex white wine, offering freshness, fruit and vibrancy. The perfume is intense and persistent with sensations of white blossoms with delicate pear and apple. The palate offers freshness and balance, a medium intensity mouthfeel, crisp minerality with hints of spice, light almond and a slightly bitter orange peel character. The pretty floral notes and soft fruit flavors are fresh through the finish, and in perfect balance with the mouthwatering acidity. Dutifully fresh, impeccably poised, far from profound, but dangerously easy to drink.

100% Falanghina from the Sanrio DOC in Campania. Named after the method of vine training in Sannio at the end of the Roman era, using "falangs" or poles, Falanghina is one of the signature wine varietals of Campania, known for its complexity, medium-light body, fresh acidity and vibrant fruit. Compare this to a Vermentino, Gruner Vetliner or Albariño.

Grape bunches are hand-harvested during the latter half of September. Bunches are individually selected and soft-pressed, followed by cold settling at 57F for 24-48 hours. The juice is cold-fermented in stainless steel vats between and does not undergo malolactic fermentation. Aged about five months in stainless steel on the lees, with an additional month in bottle prior to release.

Founded in 1986, Feudi di San Gregorio is the largest family-owned winery in Southern Italy. Owned and managed by the Capaldo Family, the estate has 740+ acres of vineyards, made up of over 800 plots with varying altitudes and exposure.
