JCV Ramato Pinot Grigio 2025

Bright amber in color, with some turbidity typical of natural winemaking, on the nose this wine has aromas of orange and jam, as well as floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom. The palate leaves no doubt about its maceration time with the skins, as it has a particular body and intensity, with present acidity, some notes of bitter herbs and intense flavors of red and white fruit. It shows freshness, fluidity and round tannins. A unique and thought-provoking Pinot Grigio, and a joy to drink.

100% hand-harvested Pinot Grigio farmed organically in Casablanca Valley. Produced with minimal intervention. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, 43 days of skin contact, unfined, unfiltered.

Only 70km West of Santiago and less than 25km from the Pacific Ocean, Casablanca Valley is one of the prime areas for cool-climate grapes in Chile. The cold Humboldt Current runs off the coast, so the sea produces a cooling effect, with morning fog and low temperatures that are expressed in this wine with bright acidity and fresh fruity aromas.
