Judith Beck "Beck Pink" Rosé 2024
Crafted from 85% Zweigelt and 15% Blaufränkisch (Pinot Noir), this is a versatile and refreshing rosé from biodynamic star Judith Beck, with vivid red cherry, currants and zippy minerals. Pretty pink glass, fresh and fruit-driven. Incredibly clean and pure, it gushes with wild strawberry, cranberry and zesty orange rind, expertly balancing richness with a seam of fresh acidity.
For over 15 years, Judith Beck's estate has been certified biodynamic, promoting soil health through the formation of humus. Once the manual harvest is done, the vinification process is minimally invasive and avoids the use of chemicals at any stage of production. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and finally, the wine is bottled without fining or filtering.
As one of the key figures in turning Burgenland into an epicenter of innovation and tradition in viticulture, her rosé wine Judith Beck Pink perfectly captures the essence and terroir of this fascinating region. A blend of two of the most representative indigenous varieties that is simply delightful.
