Limited Addition "Red Crush" 2024

Bright, lively and wonderfully versatile, Limited Addition’s Red Crush is a vibrant red blend with lifted red fruit, fresh earth and savory notes of beet and rhubarb. Juicy and refreshing with bright acidity, a delicate earthy character and plenty of energy, it strikes a lovely balance between Pinot Noir’s elegance, Gamay’s depth and Trousseau’s lively fruit. Lightly chilled or served at cellar temperature, this is an easygoing yet characterful red with plenty of personality.

The 2024 blend brings together 40% Pinot Noir, 35% Gamay Noir and 25% Trousseau from vineyards across Oregon’s Willamette Valley, including Tsai Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. These varieties thrive together in cool maritime climates, where Gamay contributes vibrant color and naturally high acidity while Trousseau adds lifted fruit and earthy complexity without weighing down the palate. The initial fermentations are brought together in stainless steel before the wine is transferred to neutral French oak for malolactic fermentation and aging on its lees. Bottled in July, it is made to be enjoyed young but will continue to develop complexity with time in the bottle.

Limited Addition Wines is the creative collaboration of Chad Stock, a classically trained winemaker with an experimental spirit, and Bree Stock, one of the few Masters of Wine in the United States. Together, they champion Oregon’s potential for diverse grape varieties, sustainable farming and thoughtful minimal-intervention winemaking. Red Crush is their flagship red blend and an expression of their vision for the Willamette Valley: a distinctive regional wine that celebrates varieties traditionally grown together without relying on additions or adjustments in the cellar.
