This white blend from the Canary Islands is characterized by an intense, citrusy taste with full body and a slightly tart aftertaste. It is a true delight for the senses and reflects a commitment to high-quality, sustainable winemaking.

La Palma Blanco is the product of organic cultivation and the highest standards of sustainable farming. The vineyards have undergone rigorous inspection to ensure they are free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, after which only physical and natural procedures were applied in the production process.

The wine is made using a careful selection of Albillo and Listan Blanco grapes, some of which are harvested early to ensure their optimal ripeness. After harvest, the whole grapes undergo a prolonged maceration in a refrigerated room, which contributes to the beautiful steely color and refreshing aromas of this wine.

Vinos Tendal is a small family winery founded by two oenologists, Nancy Castro Rodríguez and Constancio Ballesteros Magán, who decided to bet on the family terroir on the island of La Palma. In 1997, as soon as the Denomination of Origin Vinos de La Palma was launched, they took the risk of leaving everything behind to bring a small estate back into production, and they've since been producing wine for 30 years in the caves of Montaña de Bellido, Tijarafe.

The new project aims to publicize this small corner of pre-phylloseric viticulture in the middle of the Atlantic, an island with a diversity of microclimates and soils, growing native varieties using traditional and sustainable cultivation techniques at high altitudes. Their "Garden of Eden" viticulture combined with passion, creativity and tradition, results in honest wines that transport you to the terroir where they were born.

La Palma is a high, jagged volcanic island on the west end of the Canary archipelago, full of impossibly vertiginous canyons, fresh lava fields, tumultuous coastline and technicolor vistas. It is also home to many powerful, conflicting microclimates and special places for cultivating distinctive agricultural products, including grapes and wine. Nancy Castro Rodríguez and Constancio Ballesteros Magán of Tendal are pioneers on La Palma, one of the first commercial wineries in the remote north, where vineyards soar up to 1500m high on some of the most extreme and challenging slopes in the world.

The old vineyards of the north are planted to a mouth-watering blend of white and red varieties Listán Blanco, Albillo Criollo, Negramoll, Listán Prieto, Tintilla, Almuñeco, Listán Negro and more. The best wines from the region vibrate with mountain energy and forest fruit and flora, infused with brisk air and tingling acidity. Their vulcanism is not found in the salty, sulfurous funk that is often associated with Canary Island wines. In the hands of sensitive winemakers, La Palma’s vulcanism shows something new in the wines’ light, complex textures, strong minerality and a fine but forceful pileup of pulses that ripple through the wine and reform our minds.
