Mersel Wine "Elevate" Pinot Noir 2021

100% Pinot Noir. Destemmed by hand. Half whole berry fermented, half crushed. Fermented in stainless tank. Aged in Lebanese amphora for one year, and in bottle for a year before release. Uninoculated, natural MLF took place. Unfined, unfiltered. 

Mersel Wine's Elevate line of wines focuses on single varieties, including indigenous or well-growing varieties like Pinot Noir, Marini, Merwah, and Daw Al Amar. The winemaker, Eddie Chami, is passionate about making wine using local Lebanese grape varieties and preserving traditional winemaking techniques.
