Pali Wine Company Tower 15 Central Coast Red Blend 2020
Earthy aromas of charred wood and dried beef meet with thick, heavy and extracted berry and purple-flower scents on the nose. Flavors of ripe plums, dried tobacco and lavender play on the palate. Long finish with linger- ing acidity and warm baking spices.
These grape varieties (42% Syrah, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Zinfandel and 8% Dornfelder) are sourced from distinct small vineyards located on California's Central Coast and undergo separate fermentation and aging processes before being meticulously blended together.
Altogether, the wine is aged for 18 months in a blend of new and neutral French oak and Ameri- can oak barrels, with approximately 20% of the barrels being new. This playful blend showcases some of the best red grape varieties grown on California's Central Coast.
