The 2022 Pax Syrah is a masterful blend of Syrah grapes from some of the finest vineyards on California’s North Coast. Drawing from the terroirs of Griffins Lair, Castelli-Knight Ranch, Vine Hill, and other emerging sites, this Syrah represents the culmination of expertise and dedication to showcasing the very best of each vineyard. By integrating underperforming blocks and barrels, this wine combines the essence of different soils and climates to deliver a compelling and over-delivering bottle of Syrah.

The 2022 Pax Syrah has serious game, with notes of fresh lavender, crushed cherries, blackberries, white pepper and gravelly earth. Medium to full-bodied, it has good length and is showing well, with ripe tannins and a classic note of mouthwatering, mineral tones. Nothing less than a classic Syrah, this one punches well above its weight class. It's going to show its best over the next 5-7 years.
