Château Saint Pierre is a place steeped in history, where tradition and modernity have blended over the centuries. Nestled in the heart of Provence, a fortified town houses the remains of the Priory of Saint-Pierre, whose origins date back to the 11th century. Transformed over time, this exceptional site has become a wine estate, while retaining its unique and timeless charm.
Still kept as a family treasure, the Château Saint Pierre estate is, today, driven by the desire to develop the reputation of the estate's wines, based on grape varieties with unique characteristics.
Since 1902, four generations of enthusiasts have succeeded one another at Chateau Saint Pierre to produce the best quality Côtes de Provence by combining terroir and modernity. Currently, the Château Saint-Pierre vineyard extends over 55 hectares along the Argens River to the foot of the Maures massif. Operated from father to son by the Victor family, it is composed mainly of noble grape varieties with the protected designation of origin AOP Côtes de Provence.
Aware of the importance of the quality of the terroir and with the greatest respect for it, the Victor family has maintained natural cultivation methods so that the vines can give their best. Traditional winemaking, combined with various technological advances, has made it possible to achieve the main objective of Château Saint Pierre: to preserve the typicity and quality of its wines. In order to guarantee its quality, production is deliberately limited.
