Les Chapelles is a cuvee of dry wines from three prime plots on the Domaine: Bollenberg, Clos Liebenberg and Grand Cru Pfingstberg. Les Chappelles offers refreshing, energising citrus character whilst also maintaining its elegance and complexity with 10 months on the lees and being aged in traditional large oak foudre. The Zusslin family have been settled in Orschwhir in Southern Alsace since 1691 and crafting wines for 13 generations now. Its fair to say they know a thing or two on how to craft the best Riesling in Alsace. Since 1997, the estate has been run in its entirety according to biodynamic principles. The vines are mainly worked by hand and a significant amount of time is devoted to caring for the soil.
