Folk Machine "White Light" 2024
This white varietal blend from south of Sac and Mendocino is made in a fresh light spritzy style. The nose opens with a light floral note with citrus, white peach, and a mix of tropical fruits. On the palate this is light with good acid and a flavor set of wet stones, white flowers and white fruits.
Driven by the idea of making a lightly aromatic textural wine, something not super dry or super fruity, this wine always strives to be fresh, acid-leaning, mineral, saline/briny extremely drinkable and easy to enjoy.
The pieces of this blend were all fermented in stainless steel tanks and the blend was assembled in pieces as the fermentations finished. Spontaneous fermentation, partial malolactic, no oak, and bottled early with a touch of residual CO2.

This "1% for the Planet,"" biodynamic and organic winery is about as eco-friendly as it gets. Founded by Japanese-American owner Kenny Likitprakong in 2002, Hobo Wines are made across dozens of California AVAs and varietals. When HoBo Wine Company started the FOLK MACHINE line, what started as the home for Pinot Noirs has become the main venue for their smaller production line of esoteric wines.
