Prancing & fragrant, lemon verbena, flower bath, juicy, aromatic Charmeur, morning dew dry & carelessness. Very exotic, this well-meshed white offers flavors of crunchy white peach, Mandarin orange peel, passion fruit and chrysanthemum. Sculpted by sleek acidity, it offers a mouthwatering underpinning, all set on a light-bodied frame.

A rich yellow in color, extremely aromatic. The nose is a medley of fruit, like pineapple, peach, and orange, with pungent grassy and floral aromas. The palate contrasts the nose, with leaner fruits of lime and lemon and hints of pine and salt. Structurally refreshing, dry with medium body, high acid and just an ounce of tannin. A carefree juicy white with a feel of lemon verbena and morning dew.

The grapes are biodynamically grown and harvested by hand. Maceration and spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. Each varietal is fermented separately, then blended after fermentation is done. The wine is matured over 11 months on full yeasts, then on fine yeasts until bottling. Unfiltered, no sulphites added. Demeter certified.

Vivas, made up of a blend of four aromatic varieties (33% Blüten Muskateller, 33% Sauvignac, 22% Muscaris and 12% Gelber Muskateller), is practically exploding with flavor. Incredibly ripe tropical aromatics of guava and passionfruit give way to a lean, medium-bodied palate with balanced acidity, tart orange, and a refreshing, salinity-driven finish. This is a bright showstopper of a wine.

The Ploder-Rosenberg vineyard is located in the volcanic area of Austria, in south-eastern Styria. Winemaker Manuel Ploder is the third generation to run the farm. Building on the biodynamic foundation of his parents, he now creates natural wines with little intervention and a focus on PiWi (fungus resistant) varietals. This results in cuvees and single-varietal wines that reflect the biodynamic farming methods and the origin.
