Ca Modeano Sauvignon Blanc Friuli DOC 2024

Modeano Sauvignon is a premium white wine from the Friuli DOC denomination in the picturesque Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, elegant and delicate perfumes, well balanced, dry wine with a pleasant finish. With crisp acidity, Modeano Sauvignon is dry and aromatic, with notes of citrus, orchard fruits, green herbs, tropical fruits and a touch of grass, an ideal choice for those seeking a refreshing yet complex wine experience.

The grapes are gently pressed and the grape must obtained is cooled and decanted to obtain an initial cleaning. Fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature. Six months in stainless steel tanks on its own yeasts. Two months in the bottle.

Modeano is a small agricultural village on the western edge of the Riviera Friulana, situated halfway between Venice and Trieste, where they have been cultivating vines since 1982. In 2023, a new chapter began when Luca and Andrea Cisorio embarked on the exciting journey of managing the historic winery. They are dedicated to preserving the wisdom of the past while forging a path toward the future.
